Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name or case number into a search tool, the request is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. The provider handles the request and returns the result under its own privacy terms. We do not store or maintain the search terms on our own court-record database.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send a message, we retain the message and contact details needed to respond. We keep that information within our organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, ordinary technical information may be recorded by our hosting, analytics, or security services:
- IP address assigned to the device
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website, if one was supplied
- Time and date of the visit
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. They can help measure which pages receive visits and where users stop. Analytics services may combine those signals into aggregate traffic reports. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although some features may work differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep the resource available and improve loading performance
- Send a query to the outside service selected by the visitor
- Measure which content is useful and which needs repair
- Diagnose technical or security problems
- Display advertising that may be relevant to a visitor
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Colquitt County court dockets or personal case-record information. It explains where records are held and how a reader may reach the clerk, trial court, city office, or provider. The Georgia Open Records Act governs requests to the appropriate public custodian; it does not turn this private site into the custodian of a court file. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on the site are operated by outside companies. Information entered into those tools is handled under the partner's privacy policy, not this policy. Partners set their own retention, sharing, pricing, and account practices. Review their terms before submitting personal information.
Links to Other Websites
The site links to county and city offices, clerk directories, court portals, Georgia Courts services, PeachCourt, calendar pages, and other resources. When a link is opened, the destination's privacy policy governs the visit. Review it before sharing information.
Advertising partners may also use their own systems to measure activity across sites or present targeted advertising. Those practices are controlled by the partners.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Depending on how a page is used, limited information may be processed by:
- Search providers handling a query
- Analytics services measuring traffic
- Advertising networks serving page advertisements
- Law-enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard safeguards appropriate to the information we receive. Internet transmission and storage are never guaranteed to be completely secure. We work to protect data, but cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The resource is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has provided information, a parent or guardian may ask us to remove it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable Georgia privacy and consumer-protection rules may provide additional choices. The Georgia Open Records Act concerns access to public records held by government custodians, including the distinction between a public record and protected material; it is not a promise that every private-site visitor has a court-record right. At a minimum, a visitor may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of information we maintain about the visitor
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information that no longer needs to be retained
- Explain or limit certain processing where applicable
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as the resource, vendors, or legal requirements change. The revised version will appear here with a new effective date. The policy is effective as of August 21, 2026.
